Shot in 2025 with the Canonet QL17 GIII with Kodak Double X.
Each print is produced, mounted, and framed by hand using archival materials selected for longevity and tactile quality.
The image is printed on Ilford Galerie Textured Cotton Rag, a heavyweight fine art paper with a soft, natural texture that suits monochrome and subtle tonal work. Prints are made in-house using a Canon Pro-10S with pigment inks, ensuring deep blacks, smooth tonal transitions, and long-term colour stability.
The work is mounted on black textured mat board, creating a quiet visual separation between the image and the frame. Mounting is done using archival mount tape to allow the print to sit flat while remaining conservation-safe.
Each piece is finished in a handmade recycled wood frame, crafted in Melbourne. The frames are torched and stained black before being sanded back to reveal the grain beneath the surface. This process gives every frame slight variations — no two are identical.
All works are 1 of 1. Each print is produced once and will not be reprinted, reinforcing the work as a singular physical object rather than part of an edition.
The artwork measures 5 × 7 inches, presented within an 8 × 10 inch frame, with matting considered as part of the overall composition.
This work is intended to be viewed as a complete object: image, materials, and frame considered together.
